Have you tried dip pen calligraphy before, but didn’t quite get the hang of it?

Maybe the ink didn’t flow right, the letters felt shaky, or you just weren’t sure what to practice next.
You’re not alone - and this free session is your warm invitation to come back to the page, slow down, and try again with support.

In this calming one-hour workshop, I’ll guide you through beginner-friendly warm-ups, drills, and mindful exercises designed to build your confidence and ease with the dip pen. We’ll focus on progress, not perfection — and I’ll share simple tips to help you enjoy the process and feel more in control of your pen.

In this session, you’ll:

  • Learn how to feel more comfortable with your dip pen

  • Practise mindful calligraphy drills to improve control and rhythm

  • Explore ways to use calligraphy as a calming, grounding practice

  • Start to build a habit of slowing down and enjoying the creative process

This is a relaxed, no-pressure session - ideal if you’ve tried calligraphy before but didn’t stick with it. Whether it’s been weeks or years since you last picked up your pen, you’re so welcome here.
