This is the start of something new - a monthly curated collection of inks, thoughtfully chosen to reflect the colours and feeling of each season. Hand-mixed in small batches, these inks are only available during their month and will make way for a fresh set each month.

The May set includes:

• Bluebells - a soft spring blue inspired by wild woodland blooms
• Petal Cream - a delicate off-white with a touch of warmth
• Plum - pink-toned plum with a fresh, romantic feel
• Jade Green - a fresh, leafy tone full of life

Each ink is mixed and poured by hand, and every pot is tested to make sure it flows beautifully with a pointed pen (I recommend a Nikko G nib). You can also use them with a brush – just know that lighter tones might need an extra layer or two for that pop of contrast.

Because they’re made with pigment, the inks like to settle - so make sure to give each pot a really good shake before you start.
If your ink feels thick, add a drop or two of water and shake well. If it feels too runny, you can leave the lid off overnight or add a little Gum Arabic.

A few tips for your best results:
– Use smooth, high-quality card stock to avoid bleeding
– Clean around the rim and screw the lid on tightly after each use

Please note that colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen - I do my best to photograph them true to life.

This set is only available as a full collection of four, and once May is over, they’ll be replaced by June’s colours.
