Escape the festive rush and join me for a cosy evening of creativity at The Art House, where you'll be introduced to the beautiful art of modern dip pen calligraphy in a warm and welcoming setting.

Perfect for complete beginners, this relaxed workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of modern calligraphy with plenty of step-by-step support along the way.

We'll begin by getting to know the tools before easing into warm-up exercises to help you build confidence with strokes, pressure and letterforms.

Once you've learnt the basics, we'll move on to forming the modern calligraphy alphabet, practising letters, joining words and experimenting with festive greetings and elegant layouts.

Using a beautiful selection of colourful inks, you'll create a collection of unique Christmas cards, adding shimmering gold details and thoughtful finishing touches to make each design feel truly special. You'll also create matching envelopes ready to send to family and friends.
