A creative half-term workshop for teens & grown-ups

Fancy trying something creative together this half term?

This relaxed 90-minute brush calligraphy taster is designed for one young person aged 12–18 and one accompanying adult to enjoy together.

You'll learn the basics of brush calligraphy, experiment with colourful brush pens and explore how lettering can be used to create beautiful designs. Together, you'll make colourful cards, gift tags and envelope designs that you can take home and use or give as gifts.

Brush calligraphy is a wonderfully relaxing and mindful creative activity - a chance to slow down, focus on the movement of the pen and enjoy making something by hand. It's also a lovely opportunity to spend some creative time together, away from screens and everyday distractions.

No previous experience is needed. I'll guide you through everything step by step, and all calligraphy materials and everything you need for the projects are included.

This is a hands-on workshop, so both the young person and adult are encouraged to take part and create alongside each other.

Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult, who must remain at the venue for the duration of the workshop.
