Spend a creative summer morning discovering the beautiful art of dip pen calligraphy and designing your own hand-lettered greetings cards.

This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect if you've always admired modern calligraphy but aren't sure where to start. I'll guide you through the fundamentals step-by-step, from learning how to hold and use a dip pen to creating elegant letterforms, connecting letters, and building confidence with your strokes.

Once you've practised the basics, we'll bring everything together to create a collection of beautiful summer-inspired cards. You'll learn how to embellish your lettering with simple hand-drawn seasonal details and decorative touches using colourful inks, shimmering metallic paints, and soft summer-inspired colours.

Whether you're creating cards for friends and family or simply enjoying a mindful few hours of creativity, you'll leave with new skills, plenty of inspiration, and a set of unique handmade cards to treasure.
