Spend a cosy September afternoon painting expressive autumn florals, pumpkins and foliage as we create a beautiful collection of handmade greeting cards using loose watercolour and monoline writing.

In this guided, follow-along workshop, I'll show you how to paint in a light, relaxed and expressive style while exploring the rich colours of the season. We'll mix beautiful muted autumn palettes, experiment with loose brushstrokes using both round and square brushes, and discover how watercolour and ink work together to create charming botanical illustrations full of warmth and character.

Together we'll create a collection of seasonal cards inspired by autumn's changing colours, finishing each design with modern hand lettering and thoughtful details to make them beautifully personal.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and improvers alike. Whether you've painted a little before or you're completely new to watercolour, I'll guide you through each step in a relaxed and supportive way, sharing plenty of tips and fundamental techniques along the way.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have a beautiful collection of autumn-inspired cards ready to send, display or keep, along with the confidence and inspiration to continue painting throughout the season.
