Create your own beautifully hand-lettered Spring cards while learning the art of brush pen calligraphy. Using colourful inks and seasonal embellishments, we'll design a collection of unique cards and matching envelopes ready to send to loved ones this Spring.

Gail’s, 157 Church Road, Hove, BN3 2AD.

Sunday 14th March | 3-5pm

Join me for a cosy afternoon of creativity at Gail’s, where you'll be introduced to the beautiful art of brush pen calligraphy in a warm and welcoming setting.

Perfect for complete beginners, this relaxed workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of brush pen calligraphy with plenty of step-by-step support along the way.

We'll begin by getting to know the tools before easing into warm-up exercises to help you build confidence with strokes, pressure and letterforms.

Once you've learnt the basics, we'll move on to forming the modern calligraphy alphabet, practising letters, joining words and experimenting with greetings and elegant layouts.

Using a beautiful selection of colourful inks, you'll create a collection of unique cards, adding thoughtful finishing touches to make each design feel truly special. You'll also create matching envelopes ready to send to family and friends.

Whether you're looking for a mindful evening, hoping to discover a new creative hobby, or simply want to make something beautifully handmade this season, this workshop is the perfect opportunity to slow down and enjoy a little creativity.
