Watercolour & Brush Calligraphy Christmas Cards

Celebrate the festive season with a cosy evening of watercolour painting and brush calligraphy, creating a beautiful collection of handmade Christmas cards to take home.

This relaxed and welcoming workshop is perfect for complete beginners, as well as anyone looking to enjoy a few hours of creativity and unwind from the busyness of everyday life.

During the session, you'll learn simple watercolour techniques including colour mixing, layering and brush control, using a festive palette to create loose seasonal flowers, foliage and other Christmas-inspired details.

We'll then bring your paintings to life with modern brush pen calligraphy, learning how to add beautiful hand-lettered greetings and phrases to your cards.

I'll guide you step by step throughout the workshop, from creating the watercolour elements through to adding the lettering, so you'll be able to create your own collection of unique handmade cards even if you've never painted or tried brush calligraphy before.

By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a collection of hand-painted and hand-lettered Christmas cards, complete with envelopes, ready to send to friends and family or keep for yourself.
